Dear Sir,
I GREATLY enjoyed this article! This has been a sad truth for years, and for years more in America. Nowadays the black belt knows less than my 10 year old brother does about martial arts, and they no only HAVE their black belt, but they have not the attitude that black belts were REQUIRED ‘in the day. They are simple-minded, tunnel-visioned, and all-over obsolete. In a true fight they will not survive, and that is sad. Is not the reason to train in a combative art to defend oneself and ones’ family?
